Ever since the Vikings came to the Faroe Islands 1000 years ago, the islanders have been rappelling. Back then it was mostly to hunt birds and gather their eggs. Although we still rappel for hunting and gathering today, it’s also done for fun. There is nothing like this experience.
We recommend that you bring warm clothing. Expect that your clothes and shoes can get wet and dirty. We also recommend that you bring a camera.
Weather in the Faroe Islands is unpredictable, and the weather forecast can change from sun to wind and rain in less than a day. Your safety is our highest priority, therefore, (although not common) cancellations are possible. Have a look at our cancellation policy.
